Personal:

Dr. Getz practiced general dentistry in Charlotte for five years, where he was active in the dental community and study groups. Driven by his interest in surgery and implant dentistry, he returned to the UNC School of Dentistry for three years to pursue a Masters degree in Periodontology. His professional interests include bone augmentation and digitally guided implant surgery. Dr. Getz is an active volunteer throughout the Charlotte community, including the Mint Museum, Give Kids a Smile Day, and Charlotte’s Mission of Mercy Clinic since its inception. Dr. Getz’ other passions include cooking and woodworking. He and his wife Veronica enjoy traveling, tennis, and Tar Heel sports.
