North Charlotte Dental Hygiene Study Club

The North Charlotte Dental Hygiene Study Club started in 2011 and is currently held at the Great Wolf Lodge. Members of the study club can attend 4 meetings per year with 6 CE credits offered (4 x 1.5 hours).  Please contact our office if you have any dental hygienist who would like to join. Laser Assisted Periodontal Therapy

Laser Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT) is a gentle, conservative, non-invasive method of treating gum disease without cutting, suturing or removing tissue. Using a precision laser we are able to kill up to 99% of the disease causing bacteria in the periodontal pockets.

A state-of-art, ultra-low-dose radiation way to capture high resolution three dimensional images of a patient facial features, teeth, and bone to allow us to diagnosis and to treatment plan a wide range of therapeutic options to include the placement of dental implants and advanced bone grafting techniques.

To assist patients with anxiety issues, we offer sedation options that can be customized to fit the patient’s desire in light of the procedure(s) to be performed. We can take the edge of patient’s anxiety or even achieve “twilight” sleep – the goal is patient comfort.
